Hi, I had a DVR, but don't have option to control PTZ camera, I had the PTZ TOOL, but I don't know how to use as controller.
regards

You actually can control your PTZ from the DVR directly. Right click on the image displayed by the PTZ and select the pan/tilt/zoom option. The programing tool (with the remote) is just to program the address for your PTZs.

Hi Zeke, thanks for the reply, but the problem is that I have old DVR, well is too basic, and don't have the connectors for the PTZ control, I have a PTZ tool, but I don't know how to used as a controler, this is just only for local control.

Did you get the programming tool from us? and what kind of PTZ are you talking about? Was this DVR purchased from us?

Yes I buy the PTZ tool and camera from you, the camera is PTZLX550 3X zoom, the DVR I allready have, in fact buy two complete sets of cameras with DVR from you, but I had this DVR and I want to use.

Ok. to use it to control your camera using the programing tool you need to run the control to the programing tool then come out of the same port and connect that to the RS-485 port in the back of your DVR.
